Distribution Center
A full lightning protection system across a long-span distribution roof, with air terminals on the ridges and a grounding ring tied into the truck-yard steel.

Strike Safe designs, installs, certifies and inspects lightning protection for warehouses, commercial buildings and homes across Pennsylvania and the surrounding areas. When a strike lands, an engineered system carries it to ground, around your roof, your stock and your electrical, instead of through them.
One certified contractor for the whole job, from the first drawing to the annual inspection. Every system is built to the NFPA 780 and UL96A standards.
Our certified Master Designer / Installer designs a system that suits your building and protects the entire structure, while satisfying every NFPA 780 and UL96A requirement.
From bonding a utility line on a home to a full system on a commercial warehouse, we have you covered. Rooftop air terminals to the grounding electrodes, installed in a professional, workmanlike manner.
On any work we perform, you can add third-party certification. An independent agent inspects the work and issues a certification label for you or your insurer, confirming NFPA 780 and UL96A compliance.
A visual inspection is recommended every year, or any time an alteration could affect the system, with a complete continuity-tested inspection every three to five years. We inspect on a schedule or as requested.
Here is the common misconception: a lightning protection system does not attract lightning, and it cannot lower the odds of a strike. What it does is intercept a strike that was going to happen anyway and give it a controlled, low-resistance path to ground, around your building instead of through it.
Air terminals across the roof and high points present the preferred strike point, taking the hit before the structure does.
Aluminum or copper down conductors carry the current safely down the structure on a dedicated, low-resistance route.
A grounding electrode network spreads the energy safely into the earth, while bonding ties the building's metal together so nothing arcs.
Who we are
Strike Safe Lightning Protection is a new company serving Pennsylvania and the surrounding areas. It is backed by the years of experience of a certified Master Designer / Installer, so even though the name is new, the work behind it is not.
Our aim is to simplify lightning protection and make it clear: why it matters, what we install, and how it keeps your structure safe. Every system is designed and installed to the NFPA 780 and UL96A standards, with third-party certification available on any job. We will do what it takes to protect your building, and to make sure you understand how.
