Who we are
This website belongs to Strike Safe Lightning Protection, 375 New Holland Drive, Suite B, Belleville, PA 17004. It is built and looked after for us by WhiteCap Data.
What we collect
We collect personal information in one place on this site: the assessment request form on the contact page. It asks for your name, organization, email address, phone number, the type of building, what you need, and whatever you tell us about the building.
You do not have to use the form. You are welcome to call us at (717) 935-9021 or email us instead, and this website records nothing when you do.
What happens to it
When you send the form, it is emailed to our office so we can reply to you and prepare your assessment. The email is sent through Postmark, a service that delivers email, using an account that WhiteCap Data operates for this website. The reply-to address is yours, so our answer comes straight back to you.
So that a request is never lost if an email fails to arrive, a copy of each submission is also stored with our website host for up to one year and then deleted automatically. That copy holds what you typed into the form, the time it was sent, the IP address it was sent from, and whether the email service accepted the message.
We use what you send us to answer your request. This website sends it nowhere other than the services named on this page.
Hosting
The website is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes routine request information such as IP addresses to deliver the site and keep it secure.
Cloudflare also adds its Web Analytics script to every page. It counts page views and measures how quickly pages load, and it sets no cookies. It runs whether or not you accept analytics cookies, because it is part of our hosting rather than the analytics described below.
Services from other companies
- Google Fonts. The lettering on every page is loaded from Google's font service, so your browser connects to Google and Google receives your IP address.
- Google Maps. The map near the bottom of the home, projects and contact pages is an embedded Google map. When it loads, your browser connects to Google, which receives your IP address and may set its own cookies under Google's privacy policy. The "Get directions" button opens Google Maps only if you click it.
There is no advertising, no social media pixel and no cross-site tracking anywhere on this site.
Cookies
This site sets one cookie of its own, and only to remember your answer about analytics. When you first visit, we ask whether you are happy with analytics. If you decline, or if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, no analytics are loaded and we remember only your choice. Our analytics run without cookies, so accepting does not add any.

Analytics
Once you accept, we use Matomo to understand which pages people find useful. Matomo is self-hosted by WhiteCap Data at matomo.whitecapdata.com. The information stays on that server and is not sent to Google or to any advertising network.
- It records the pages you view, where you arrived from, your browser and device, and an approximate location such as region.
- Two bytes of your IP address are masked before anything is stored, so your full IP address is never kept.
- Query strings are removed from the address of the page you arrived from.
- Raw visit data is deleted after 90 days. Only aggregate reports, which do not describe individual visitors, are kept, for 25 months.
- Matomo sets no cookies on this site.
- No heatmaps and no session recordings.
- If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, your visit is not recorded even after you accept.
Your choices
To withdraw consent for analytics, open your cookie choices and press Decline. Matomo records nothing further from then on. You can also clear this site's cookie in your browser settings.
